Event Submission Process

All events are reviewed by moderators. Please read the submission guidelines in the Help section.

New: Event title is 40 characters long, event description is 80 characters long.

Submit your events in priority order, submitting the most important events to get into the WhatWhereWhen guide first. No promises, but we will try to fit as many events per camp as we can.

Where do approved Playa Events appear?

  • Playa Events website — All approved submissions made via this website are available right here!
  • WhatWhereWhen guide — A select number of events get into the guide which is available at Greeters Station.
  • Innovate community built applications — Submissions made to this website are available to third party applications (go to innovate.burningman.org for details).
  • Playa Info kiosks — On-playa during the BRC event, submitters can add or edit their existing events at the Playa Info kiosks. Participants can look up events.
